Freepik and fal release F Lite image-model weights

Freepik and fal released F Lite, a 10-billion-parameter diffusion image model with downloadable weights under CreativeML Open RAIL-M. The creators said it was trained on about 80 million licensed images from Freepik’s collection.

The first F Lite release

The April 29 release was the 10-billion-parameter model. The project's 7-billion-parameter variant followed on May 9. F Lite's weights use CreativeML Open RAIL-M; Apache 2.0 applies to the T5 XXL and Flux Schnell VAE components, not the F Lite weights. [2]

Freepik was the name used at launch. The organization tag resolves to Magnific because the same company later changed its name. Both Freepik and fal participated in developing the model. [4][5]
