DigitalOcean opens its GenAI Platform to all customers

DigitalOcean introduced the platform at Deploy 25 in Austin on January 22, 2025. Its release explicitly states availability to all customers that day after a private preview, and same-day reporting corroborates the launch. [1][2]

The service connected foundation models to customer data, custom functions and deployment endpoints. It was a shipped application-development service; additional data-source support, fine-tuning and evaluation features were described separately as future work. [1]
