A public resource for comparing AI policies
OECD.AI launched on February 27, 2020, with policy and initiative information, trend data and guidance. A joint official report credits the European Commission with joint development of the policy database. This is the institutions’ actual resource contribution, rather than a tag based on attendance at the launch. [4]
The official launch program gives the February 27 date, a June retrospective describes the February 26 and 27 meeting, and a contemporary report says the portal launched that day. The entry records public availability of the portal, not an AI law taking effect. [1][2][3]
