Pipedream supplies an integration layer for software that needs to act across other applications. Connect handles authentication, external accounts and API requests, including credential storage and token refresh. For an AI agent, that is the operational connection between a proposed action and the service where it executes. [1]

Workday announced an acquisition agreement in November 2025. Its fiscal 2026 filing subsequently lists Pipedream among completed acquisitions. That later evidence supports the ownership relationship, without treating the agreement announcement as the precise closing date. [2]
