Building the application around a model

Vercel supplies tools and infrastructure for developing and operating AI applications. Its TypeScript AI SDK standardizes supported model-provider integrations and exposes APIs for text, structured outputs, tool calls and agent workflows. UI components address the application experience around those calls. [2]

AI Gateway and the deployment platform cover a different part of the workflow: reaching models and running the software that uses them, with delivery and observability services. These are concrete software and operations contributions, distinct from training the underlying model weights. [1]

Inception's Mercury 3 release explicitly named Vercel among its access routes. That establishes a distribution relationship for that launch. It does not make Vercel an author of Mercury's architecture or a contributor to its reported benchmark results. [3]
