Hardware and software developed together
Tenstorrent builds computers for AI, combining chip architecture, systems and neural-network software. Its developer documentation covers hardware setup, kernels, compilers and model serving. The software stack is part of making an alternative accelerator usable, rather than an incidental accessory to the chip. [1][2]
Developer hardware available to order
At the July 2024 Wormhole launch, n150s and n300s PCIe cards and the TT-LoudBox workstation were available for immediate order. The liquid-cooled TT-QuietBox was separately offered for preorder, so the announcement did not establish immediate shipment of every system. [1]
A programmable development platform
The launch connected those systems with Tenstorrent’s open software tools for developing and scaling AI workloads across chips. Software access and support for particular models do not themselves establish unrestricted rights to all underlying silicon designs or equivalent performance across unrelated applications. [1][2]
