Event history

Turning components into complete systems

Super Micro Computer, branded Supermicro, builds servers, storage, switches and rack-scale infrastructure. Its modular Building Block approach assembles components into application-specific systems. Its filing dates incorporation in California to September 1993, separately from later Delaware reincorporation. [1][2]

Systems engineering around AI chips

For the Arm AGI CPU introduction, Arm described a liquid-cooled design developed with Supermicro. Cooling, power and integration determine how processors can be installed at rack scale. This is a concrete system contribution, rather than a claim that Supermicro designed the underlying CPU or GPU architecture. [3][1]

Individual charges and corporate activity

A separate Taiwan indictment involved employees of its Taiwan unit. The cited report describes allegations against individuals; it does not establish a corporate conviction or replace the company’s engineering role with a finding of guilt. [4]
