One company across a name change
NTT Communications changed its name to NTT DOCOMO BUSINESS on July 1, 2025. Its current company profile dates its establishment to July 1, 1999. The rename preserves the same organization’s history and should not be confused with the mobile operator NTT DOCOMO or the NTT holding company. [1]
From a research model to a business service
Under its historical NTT Communications name, it began accepting applications for tsuzumi-based solutions on March 25, 2024. The release identified customer-contact, employee-work and IT-operations uses. NTT supplied the underlying language model, while the service company packaged its deployment and application work. [2]
A different role from publishing weights
The launch record supports commercial solution availability, rather than an unrestricted model download. Its partner program had a later planned start, so the service launch should not imply that every announced partnership or application was already operating that day. [2][3]
