The domestic operating company
NTT DATA Japan Corporation is the domestic operating company identified in the group’s corporate structure. Its own profile gives November 1, 2022 as its establishment date. It is distinct from NTT DATA Group Corporation, the holding company, and the overseas operating company NTT DATA, Inc. [1][2]
An implementation role in tsuzumi
NTT’s March 2024 commercial tsuzumi announcement names NTT DATA as a delivery company. Its separate LITRON announcement describes combining document retrieval with tsuzumi-generated Japanese answers in a closed environment, together with consulting, system construction and operations. That particular integration was scheduled for April 2024. [4][3]
Separate the service from the underlying model
This role connects model capabilities to customer data and business systems. It does not make NTT DATA Japan the original developer of the tsuzumi foundation model. A model launch, a retrieval application and a customer deployment can therefore have different dates and different evidence of availability. [3][4]
