These are supporting electronics around an AI system, rather than a claim that Nexperia designed the model accelerator itself. [1]
A governance dispute enters the chronology
Nexperia’s October 2025 court-measures event concerns suspension and voting-rights administration. The company’s later statement described ownership through Wingtech, while explaining that an independent administrator exercised voting control. Economic ownership and the power to direct the company are separate questions. [2]
Interim measures are not expropriation
In February 2026, the Enterprise Chamber maintained interim measures and ordered an investigation. Its own Q&A said the shares remained Yuching Holding’s property and distinguished the proceeding from the government’s ministerial order. An investigation is not a final finding of mismanagement.
