A separate company inside Naver
Naver Cloud’s own profile dates its establishment to May 1, 2009 and records its earlier NAVER Business Platform name. Naver’s first-quarter 2026 filing lists it as wholly owned. Its history is distinct from the parent’s 1999 founding and from the HyperCLOVA X model family. [1][2]
Developing models and putting them to work
The HyperCLOVA X debut connected the model to consumer and business services. Naver Cloud’s product account describes combining customer data with HyperCLOVA X for tasks such as answering questions, summarizing information and supporting business applications. Cloud deployment and customization are part of its contribution. [4][3]
Hosted access and downloadable checkpoints
The public HyperCLOVA X SEED Think checkpoint offers a different route from a managed cloud service. Its model card supplies deployment details and identifies a checkpoint-specific license. Access to weights does not imply that an enterprise receives every cloud feature, the same operating environment or unrestricted terms for all HyperCLOVA models. [5]
