Creative apps and model development

Lightricks builds visual-creation software, including Facetune, Photoleap and Videoleap. Its AI work has also included the LTX video-generation models, connecting research on generated motion with tools people use to make and revise visual material. [1]

Its current company page says the LTX model and licensing business is in the process of separating to operate independently. That describes an organizational transition, rather than evidence that every asset has already transferred or that the model lab is simply another name for the whole creative-app company. [1]

Releasing a model developers could run

The LTXV-13B model was released on May 6, 2025. Lightricks described multiscale rendering that builds a video through progressively detailed stages. It distributed model artifacts so developers could run generation in their own systems, alongside the company's hosted creation tools. [2]

The original 13B license is an open-weights license with conditions. It requires entities with at least $10 million in annual revenue to obtain a separate paid license for commercial use, and includes use restrictions. The downloadable model and its permissions should therefore be described together; the release does not make every LTX checkpoint unrestricted. [3]
