Machine vision and deployed camera systems

Flock Safety develops camera hardware and search software for public-safety customers. Its founder dates the company to 2017. The company's FAQ describes machine learning that extracts license-plate information and organizes vehicles by physical characteristics, while its product range also includes video cameras, audio detection and drones. The AI role is visual recognition and evidence retrieval within deployed surveillance systems. [1][2]

The December 2025 camera exposure report concerned Condor video devices. Flock's own response described a limited configuration issue and distinguished Condor from its license-plate readers. That response should be treated as the company's account of scope and remediation, rather than proof that every deployed camera was affected or independently verified as secure. [3]
