Industrial manipulation without a human body plan

Dexterity builds robotic systems for moving and arranging goods. Its Mech design places two arms on a wheeled base, allowing the machine to position itself for truck loading and other industrial work. Cameras, force sensing and motion planning support the physical handling of boxes, rather than making humanoid appearance the design goal. [1]

The March 2025 Mech offer identified truck loading as the initial application available to industrial customers. Additional applications were planned separately. The launch therefore supports a specific product and task, without showing that every advertised warehouse operation was already available. [1]

Predicting the result of a placement

Dexterity calls its predictive world model Foresight. Its technical account describes updating a representation of the physical scene as actions change it, then coordinating specialized planning, perception, grasp and force-control components. For truck packing, the system must trade packing density against stability, incomplete sensing and time pressure. [2]

This is a manipulation and planning contribution, distinct from generating a plausible video of a future scene. The company's production-scale and reliability claims are its own; the architecture description does not independently establish a universal success rate across customers or operating conditions.
