A robot and its warehouse integration
Agility Robotics builds Digit, a bipedal robot for material-handling work, and the software required to put it into an operation. Its current offering includes Arc, a cloud platform for connecting robot workflows with warehouse systems and other automation, monitoring metrics and managing fleets. [1]
This makes the company a supplier of physical machines, learned behavior and operational integration. A robot policy still has to work with conveyors, mobile robots, task definitions and maintenance processes. Agility's current product catalog describes those surrounding services alongside the robot itself. [1]
A bounded commercial task
The June 2024 GXO agreement put Digit into a multi-year service arrangement after an earlier pilot. The documented work moved totes from mobile robots onto conveyors at a GXO-operated fulfillment site. That is a specific commercial workflow, rather than proof of general-purpose warehouse autonomy.
